Asus ROG Maximus III Extreme P55 Motherboard supports Overclocking via Bluetooth

Asus announced the new Republic of Gamers (ROG) Maximus III Extreme motherbord based on Intel’s P55 Express chipset supporting Core i7 and Core i5 processor. The mainboard includes the ROG Connect overclocking platform and adds the latest RC Bluetooth technology allowing users to review the status of their systems’ hardware and tweak parameters wirelessly from a Bluetooth-enabled PDA phone.

Thanks to the RC Bluetooth, the Maximus III Extreme includes support for stereo music playback, Skype messaging, Internet access via a Bluetooth phone, and mobile phone or PDA synchronization.

Asus’s new P55 motherboard has 4 DIMM slot for up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM, five PCIe-x16 slots, one PCI 2.2 slots, six SATA 3.0Gb/s ports, two SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports, integrated Gigabit LAN controller, 10-channel HD audio, NEC USB 3.0 controller with two USB 3.0 ports, 11 USB 2.0 ports and two 1394a ports. It supports NVIDIA SLI Technology / ATI CrossFireX Technology and Intel Turbo Boost Technology.
