Toshiba launches the dynadock wireless U, a wireless universal docking station that utilizes wireless USB technology eliminating the need for a cable between the docking station and laptop.
The dynadock wireless U serves as a conduit for add-on peripherals like external speakers, keyboard & mouse, monitor, router and other accessories to easily link with the laptop. It can automatically connect to the laptop when within range and offers one touch undock button ensures all peripherals shut down properly when undocking.
The dynadock wireless U has built-in video card for connecting external VGA/DVI monitor with up to 1680×1050 resolution as well as integrated digital audio card for 7.1 surround sound. It offers 6 USB 2.0 ports including two front Sleep-and-Charge USB ports for charging cellphone, PMP or other mobile devices. Also included is the bi-directional audio support for Audio, webcams, microphones and USB speakers.
Toshiba dynadock wireless U is available for $299.99. The device works with not only Toshiba notebooks, but any laptops running Windows XP/Vista as well as the latest Windows 7.
