VIA announced its eNote Turnkey Solution that is a thin and light notebook. The 11.6-inch notebook is equipped with Sequans Communications’ Mobile WiMAX chip.
The VIA eNote is boosted by a 1.3GHz VIA Nano processor, 2GB of DDR2 memory, VIA VX800 digital media IGP chipset, and the VIA Chrome9 DirectX 9.0 3D graphics chip. The slim-line notebook features also video acceleration for MPEG-2, MPEG-4, WMV9, VC1 and DiVX video formats, a VMR capable HD video processor and 8-channel HD audio.
The eNote is equipped with two wireless modules, one for WiFi, Bluetooth and optional GPS and one for WiMAX, HSDPA and EVDO/WCDMA connection. The device gets a 11.6-inch LCD, a 2 Megapixel webcam, a 4-in-1 card reader and three USB 2.0 ports. It can run Windows Vista/XP and Linux.
