Asus introduces the new UL Series notebook PCs, where UL standard for UnLimited. In total, there are seven models and all of them are boosted by Intel’s ultra-low voltage processor and the GS45 Chipset.
The new UL series UnLimited notebooks include the 12.1-inch UL20A, 13.3-inch UL30A, 15.6-inch UL50A, UL50Ag and the 14-inch UL80Ag. All these models pack Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics. There are also 14-inch UL80V and 15.6-inch UL50Vg, both with dedicated NVIDIA GeForce G210M with 512MB video memory.
All these notebook have up to 4GB DDR3 RAM (UL50Vg gets up to 8GB), up to 500GB hard drive, a DVD SuperMulti burner, a 0.3 Megapixel webcam, 1366×768 display, Altec Lansing speakers with SRS Premium Sound. They run Windows Vista, upgradeable to Windows 7. Asus’ UL series offers up to 12 hours of battery lifespan, thanks to the GraphiX Boost that allows users to conserve their battery power by switching between dedicated and integrated graphics.
