Toshina finally releases its first Blu-ray player, the BDX2000, after the failure of its HD DVD. The Toshiba BDX2000 is a BD-Live (Profile 2.0) compatible Blu-ray player that offers 1080p/24fps Full HD video output.
The BDX2000 Bonus View for picture-in-picture capability and it’s BD-Live support allows users to take advantage of interactive features through an Ethernet connection. The player supports also AVCHD playback from SD memory cards and Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio audio format.
Toshiba BDX2000 comes with the REGZA-LINK function, which means when it is connected with a REGZA LCD TV via a HDMI cable, you can enjoy Full HD content with a single remote control. The device is priced at $249.99 and will come in November.
