BenQ announced two new notebooks, the Joybook S35 and S43, based on Intel’s Consumer Ultra Low Voltage (CULV) processor. The former gets a 13.3-inch LCD display while the latter has a 14-inch screen, both with 1366×768 resolution.
These CULV notebooks can be equipped with Core 2 Duo SU7300 1.3GHz, Core 2 Solo SU3500 1.4GHz, or Celeron 723/743 processor. They have up to 500GB hard drive and supports WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. The Joybook S35 has integrated Intel GMA4500M graphics and the Joybook S43 packs dedicated ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330 graphics card.
BenQ’s S35 and S43 features also a wecbcam, 2-channel TruSurround HD sound system with SRS Headphone 360, eSATA port, 4-in-1 card reader, and HDMI port. The S43 includes also 8X DVD SuperMulti burner.
