BenQ has introduced the world’s first Full HD 3D home entertainment projector with built-in support for 5GHz Wireless High Definition Interface (WHDI). Using the included WHDI dongle kit, the projector can stream uncompressed 2D and 3D HD video and audio from any HDMI source, including notebook, Blu-ray/DVD player, gaming console. The maximum wireless range is 20 meters.
Equipped with DarkChip 3 DLP technology, the W1500 features 1920×1080 Full HD resolution, 2200 ANSI lumens brightness and 10,000:1 contrast ratio. It delivers accurates with a native Rec. 709 color gamut and is ISFccc-certified for professional calibration. The projector has 1.6x big zoom and supports lens-shift for adjusting projected images. As a 3D projector, the WHDI projector supports most 3D formats and NVIDIA 3DTV and features 2D to 3D conversion.
The W1500 has built-in 10Wx2 speakers with SRS WOW HD sound enhancement. Other than HDMI 1.4a, you can also find S-video, component, composite, D-sub inputs.
