Hitachi announced in Japan the new Wooo XP035 Series HDTV that comes with an integrated 500GB hard drive for video recording. In total, there are five models, the plasma-based 50-inch P50-XP035, 46-inch P46-XP035, 42-inch P42-XP035 and the LCD-based 42-inch L42-XP035 and IPS panel equipped 37-inch L37-XP035.
All these HDTVs feature 1920x1080p Full HD resolution. Plasma models have a 40,000:1 contrast while LCD models offers 500cd/m2 brightness, 120Hz refresh rate. They all have built-in digital TV tuner and 10Wx2 speakers. The Woo XP035 series HDTV, in addition to internal hard drive, offers iVDR-S slots, and uses MPEG-4/H.264 format for video recording.
These new HDTVs includes the new Picture Master Full HD image processing and is compatible with Deep Color, x.v.Color and DLNA. You can also find an Ethernet port on all models. The Wooo XP035 will be released in 10 September for Plasma models and early October for LCD models.
