Turtle Beach announced the new Ear Force X41 wireless gaming headset for the XBOX 360. The X41 uses digital 2.4GHz RF wireless technology offering uncompressed CD quality sound. The headset comes with Dolby 7.1 Channel Surround Sound and includes support for Dolby Pro Logic IIx.
The Ear Force X41 features also a dedicated Digital Signal Processor for creating an accurate 360 degree sound field with the latest Dolby Headphone HRTF algorithms. The wireless headset will come with a USB transmitter with a headphone jack and a volume control for an addition wired headset.
Though designed for XBOX 360 gaming, Turtle Beach’s Ear Force X41 can also be used with other gaming console and home multimedia devices. It is priced at $199.95.
