Toshiba introduces in Japan the D-VR8K DVD/VHS dual format video recorder. The devices records to DVD-R, DVD-RW, and VHS tapes and it supports playback of DVD, DVD-R/RW, CD-R/RW. It supports G-Code and does JPEG viewing.
Toshiba D-VR8K can also do VHS to DVD or DVD to VHS conversions. It starts at just 28,800 Yen.
