Lexar Media, part of Micron, announced the Crucial M225 series solid state drive (SSD). The 2.5-inch SSD line is available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB capacities. The M225 comes in 2.5-inch form factor has uses SATA 2.0 3Gbps interface.
Based on MLC flash memory, the flagship 256GB Crucial M225 features 250MB/s read and 200MB/s write speeds. The 64GB, 128GB and 256GB Crucial M225 SSDs are now available for $1689.99, $329.99 and $599.99 respectively.
