Asus’s Eee PC Seashell 1005HA netbook is now available for pre-order from newegg for $389.99. The model available is the 1005HA-PU1X-BU that comes in Royal Blue and will be shipped on 1 July. Windows XP Home will be the pre-installed OS.
The Seashell 1005HA-PU1X-BU is boosted by Intel’s N280 1.66GHz processor, 1GB RAM and GMA 950 onboard graphics. It has a 10.1-inch 1024×600 LCD screen, a 160GB hard drive, a 1.3 Megapixel webcam, WiFi and Bluetooth connecitivity and a MMC/SDHC card reader. A 6-cell batttery is included to offers up to 10.5 hours of usage.
