Toshiba Europe, in addition to the Satellite A500 and Satellite U500, introduces the Satellite L500 and L550 notebook PCs designed for “everyday computing”. The Satellite L500 is boosted by Intel’s Celeron, Pentium or Core 2 Duo processor while the L550 gets Pentium and Core 2 Duo. Consumers also have the option to get them with AMD Athlon Dual Core, AMD Turion Dual Core or AMD Turion Ultra Dual Core processors.
Toshiba’s Satellite L500 comes with a 15.6-inch 1366×768 LCD screen while the Satellite L550 has a 17.3-inch 1600×900 LED-backlight LCD display. They both get up to 500GB hard drive, WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth 2.1, a 4-in-1 card reader, an eSATA/USB combo port, a DVD SuperMulti burner, VGA webcam and a silver-painted keyboard with numeric keypad.
The Satellite L500 and L550 will be available in the Q3 2009 throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa.
