HP announced the Pavilion dv6z Artist Edition notebook PC that features the winning design from the 2008 HP MTV Notebook Design Contest – a design inspired by the sea and sky in Okinawa, Japan.
The Pavilion dv6z is powered by AMD’s Turion X2 dual core processor, up to 8GB RAM, and choices of ATI graphics cards, including Radeon HD 3200, Mobility Radeon HD 4530 512MB and Mobility Radeon HD 4650 1GB. It has a 16-inch LCD screen.
The dv6z get a hard drive up to 500GB and a DVD SuperMulti burner or a Blu-ray/DVD combo. You can find also webcam, WiFi, Bluetooth, optional V740 ExpressCard WWAN card, and a 5-in-1 card reader.
The HP Pavilion dv6z Artist Edition starts at $949.
