Sharp will launch next month its AQUOS LC-20DX1, part of its DX series, a 20-inch LCD HDTV that comes equipped with integrated Blu-ray burner. The TV has built-in digital TV tuner and is able to record directly to Blu-ray BD-RW and BD-R. The Blu-ray drive can also handle Blu-ray, DVD, DVD+/-R/RW, DVD-RAM and CD/CD-R/RW media.
Sharp’s AQUOS LC-20DX1 features 1366×768 resolution, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 450cd/m2 briggthness, and 176-degree viewing angle. It records video with MPEG2 or MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 codec. The HDTV has two HDMI inputs.
Sharp’s new Blu-ray equipped HDTV is available in Black (LC-20DX1-B) and White (LC-20DX1-W). It will be released on 20 June.
