MSI officially announced its X-Slim X340 ultra slim notebook PC, which is just 6mm thick and weighs just 1.3kg. Accroding to MSI, the X340 is the world’s lightest and slimmest 13-inch notebook.
MSI’s X-Slim X340 is powered by Intel’s Core 2 Solo ULC processor, up to 2GB RAM, up to 500GB hard drive and integrated GMA 4500MHD graphics. The X340 features embedded WiMAX module and supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth. It has a 13.3-inch LCD dosplay, a 1.3 Megapixel webcam, a 2-in-1 card reader, and an HDMI port.
Update: The X-Slim X340, the first notebook powered by Intel’s CULV platform, will be released in April in the US.
