Sony brings to the PMA 2009 its new Cyber-shot DSC-HX1 super zoom digital camera. The new Cyber-shot HX1 is Sony’s first camera to have the 1/2.4-inch Exmor CMOS sensor technology offering a burst speeds of 10fps at full 9.1 megapixel resolution in continuous burst mode. This new Cyber-shot super-zoom camera can capture 224-degree panorama shots in one easy press-and-sweep motion (Sweep Panorama).
Sony’s 9 Megapixel HX1 features 20x optical zoom G lens with 28mm wide-angle, Intelligent Scene Recognition (iSCN), Optical SteadyShot and face detection. It is alo capable of 1080p Full HD video recording at 30fps in AVC/H.264 format. The 20x zoom HX1 has a 3-inch LCD screen.
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX1 will be available in April for about $500.
