M&A Technology introduces the Companion Touch, which is the tablet version of Intel’s Classmate PC. The Companion Touch is designed for students to enhance learning in K-12. It has a 8.9-inch convertible touchscreen display.
The Companion Touch is powered by an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, and 60GB hard drive. The Classmate tablet has WiFi 802.11b/g/n, a 1.3 Megapixel webcam, and a SD/MMC card reader.
M&A Companion Touch runs Windows XP Home or Linux. It’s price starts at $499.99.
