Asus announced the new F50 and F70 range of notebook PCs that combine cutting-edge design with equally innovative multimedia features. Three models are available, the F50GX, F50Z and the F70SL.
Asus F50GX is powered by Intel’s processor ranging from Celeron to Core 2 Duo with NVIDIA GeForce 9400M G chipset while the F50Z sports AMD’s Athlon 64 or Turion 64 mobile processor. Both models have up to 4GB of memory, up to 500GB hard drive, a DVD SuperMulti burner or Blu-ray drive, and a 1.3 Megapixel webcam. F50GX and F50Z has a 16-inch or 15.6-inch 16:9 LCD display.
On the other hand, the 17-inch F70SL features Intel’s processor like the G50GX, up to 4GB RAM, up to 1TB dual hard drive, Blu-ray Combo drive or DVD burner and a 1.3 Megapixel webcam. It comes with a 17.3-inch 1600×900 LED-backlit LCD screen.
All three models support WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth.
