Other the Full HD Everio camcorders, JVC introduces also three new hard drive-based Everio G series standard definition camcorders, including GZ-MG680, GZ-MG670 and GZ-MG630. They all sport 1/6-inch 800,000-pixel CCD image sensor and a KONICA MINOLTA LENS with a 40x dynamic zoom and 800x digital zoom.
JVC’s 120GB GZ-MG680, and 80GB GZ-MG670 offers HD upconversion that converts the camcorders’ standard definition recordings for output as a 1920 x 1080p upconverted video signal. They will be available in Onyx Black.
The GZ-MG630 has 60GB hard drive and will come in Diamond Silver, Sapphire Blue, Ruby Red. All three camcorders have microSD/SDHC card slot.
