In addition to new LCD displays, Samsung presents at the CES 2009 its new H-series Full HD camcorders. There are four models, HMX-H106, HMX-H105, HMX-H104, and HMX-H100. Samsung’s H-Series features a 2.2 Megapixel CMOS sensor, a 37mm wide angle Schneider Kreuznach Varioplan HD lens with 10x optical zoom and Optical Image Stabilization, and a 2.7-inch LCD display. All of these Full HD camcorder utilize the H.264 compression.
These new HD camcorders are basically the same except their internal storage. The flagship HMX-H106 has 64GB SSD while the HMX-H105 and HMX-H104 comes with 32GB and 16GB SSDs. HMX-H100 comes without internal storage but a SD/SDHC memory card slot. The other three models have SD/SDHC card slot also.
Samsung H106 will be available in April 2009 while the other three models will be launch in March.
