Dell announced the new Studio XPS 1340 and Studio XPS 1640 laptops. Both of them come in Obsidian Black with Leather Accent. The starting price is $1199 and the base model of both XPS 1340 and XPS 1640 are powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 2.26GHz processor, 4GB of RAM, 210GB hard drive.
These two new Studio XPS notebooks have a slot-loading DVD burner, WiFi, 2 Megapixel webcam and a 6-cell battery. The Studio XPS 1340 comes with NVIDIA GeForce 9400M G graphics while the Studio XPS 1640 has ATI Mobility RADEON M86XT with 512MB of memory.
The Studio XPS 1340 has a 13.3-inch LCD display and the Studio XPS 1640 comes with a 16-inch screen.
