Onkyo’s subsidiary Sotec introduces the new DR701 series notebook PCs. There are three models, the DR701-Vista, DR701-Vista-LT1 and DR701-Vista-LT2.
First of all, the DR701-Vista packs an Intel Core 2 Dup P8400 2.26GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and 80GB hard drive. The DR701-Vista-LT1 is powered by an Core 2 Duo P8600 2.4GHz, 2GB of RAM and 120GB hard drive while the DR701-Vista-LT2 get a P9500 2.53GHz, 2GB of memory and a 250GB hard drive.
All three models come with a DVD SuperMulti burner, a 256MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 video card, webcam, fingerprint scanner and a 15.4-inch LCD display. Only DR701-Vista-LT1 and DR701-Vista-LT2 have wireless LAN support. Sotec DR701 series has HDMI support.
The price starts from 119,800 Yen. They all get Windows Vista Home Premium.
