Denon introduces the DVD-A1UD, which is the world’s first universal Blu-ray player that supports playback of DVD Audio and SACD media. The Denon DVD-A1UD offers 1080p60 / 1080p24 video output. As a Blu-ray player, it can play BD-ROM (BD-Video, BDMV) and BD-R/RE. As an universal player, the Denon DVD-A1UD can read DVD-Audio, DVD-Video, DVD-R/RW, Super Audio CD (SACD) as well as CD, CD-R/RW.
The Denon DVD-A1UD can even play WMA, MP3, JPEG and DivX6 media content stored on a CD-R/RW or DVD-R/RW. It is also compatible with SD and SDHC memory cards. The universal player features DTS-HD Master Audio / Dolby TrueHD decoding and 7.1-channel analog outputs.
Denon DVD-A1UD has two HDMI outputs. It will be available in Japan next month for 546,000 Yen. The player comes in Silver Premium and Black.
