Verizon Wireless announced the launch of the Samsung Omnia touch phone. The CDMA version of the Samsung Omnia offers same features as the original GSM Omnia. Based on Windows Mobile 6.1, Samsung Omnia comes with the TouchWiz UI. It has a 3.2-inch display, 8GB internal memory, 5 Megapixel camera, WiFi and support for DivX and Xvid. Omnia supports Verizon’s VZ Navigator service.
Samsung Omnia is now available from Verizon Wireless for $249 a after a $70 mail-in rebate with a new two-year contract.
