UMID, the Korean company that offers the F1 UMPC, has the MID, an ultra mini laptop in athe size of a electronic dictionary. Unlike the VIA-powered UMID F1, the MID is powered by Intel’s Atom 1.1GHz or 1.33GHz processor, 512MB/1GB of RAM, and 8-32GB SSD for storage.
Like the F1, the MID supports WiBro/WiMAX, HSDPA as well as WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. It is able to receive digital broadcasting signals thanks to the integrated DMB/DVB-T/1Seg TV tuner. The MID comes with a 4.8-inch 1024×600 touchscreen display and QWERTY keyboard.
