NEC will launch on 6 November its LaVie Light netbook in Japan. The LaVie Light (model: BL100/RA) is just another Atom-based netbook. It packs a 1.6GHz Atom N270 processor, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, 160GB SATA hard drive and integrated Intel GMA950 video chipset.
The LaVie Light has a 8.9-inch 1024×600 LEDbacklit LCD display. It features WiFi 802.11b/g, built-in 1.3 Megapixel camera, microphone, a SD card.
