Toshiba presents the new Tecra R10-ES1 (model: PTRB3C-ES109C) desktop replacement laptop PC. The Tecra R10 is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo SP9400 2.4GHz processor, 4GB of DDR2 RAM, 200GB hard drive, and NVIDIA Quadro NVS 150M Graphics with 128MB dedicated video memory. It comes with also a DVD SuperMulti Dual Layer burner, a 14.1-inch LCD display, Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11a/g/n, integrated webcam, and a SD/SDHC card slot.
The Toshiba Tecra R10 has also a combo eSATA/USB 2.0 port. It has Toshiba’s Toshiba EasyGuard for enhanced security and protection. The R10 has been drop tested and has a spill-resistant keyboard,. It is now available in Canada with a bilingual keyboard. The suggested price is CAD$1999. It has Windows Viata Business pre-installed.
Update: The Tecra R10 (R10-S4401) is available in the US for $1549.
