D-Link launches its first device in its new D-Life lineup, the Internet Surveillance Camera kit. The new Internet Surveillance Starter Kit (DHA-390) with two internet camera and two Powerline networking adapters. It offers users an easy way to monitor their homes by delivering email alert snapshots, live video monitoring over the Internet.
There is also the D-Life Internet Surveillance Expansion Kit (DHA-310) offering one more camera and Powerline adapter.
The D-Life cameras plug into existing power outlets in the home for connecting to the home network router and then out to the Internet, offering a true plug-and-play experience. To set up the Starter Kit, you simply connect one of the Powerline adapters to the router and then to a nearby power outlet. Then plug in the second Powerline adapter with the camera into any other power outlet on the same circuit in the home for easy connectivity.
