Other than a bunch of mini laptops, we also see quite a number of mini convertible tablet PCs, such as Gigabyte’s M912, Flybook V5, Kohjinsha’s SC3/SX3. Aware, a Taiwan company, offer another mini tablet, called A-Pad.
The Aware A-Pad is powered by an Aday5G 800MHz processor, 512MB RAM, and 4GB of NAND Flash. It features a 7-inch 800480 touchscreen display, WiFi and Bluetooth wireless connectivity, VGA out, built-in webcam and a SD/MMC card slot. You may also get the optional 3G and GPS support.
The A-Pad runs the Linux-based LINOS 2.6.21. It is priced at around $300 USD.
