Hitachi announced its new UltreThin 1.5-inch lineup of Plasma HDTVs. The line is named as 1.5-inch because all the HDTVs in this line will be as thin as 1.5-inch.
The 1.5 line is available in two series, the Director’s Series (X) and Ultra Vision (V) series. Both series offer 4 screen sizes and most of them supports 1920x1080p resolution and 120Hz scan rate.
Director’s Series (X) has two years of warranty and models include:
- UT47X902 – 47-inch, 1920x1080p, $4699
- UT42X902 – 42-inch, 1920x1080p, $3699
- UT37X902 – 37-inch, 1920x1080p, $2999
- UT32X812 – 32-inch, 1366x768p, $2299
- UT32X802 – 32-inch, 1366x768p, 60Hz, $1999
Director’s Series (X) has only one years of warranty and models include:
- UT47V702 – 47-inch, 1920x1080p, $4499
- UT42V702 – 42-inch, 1920x1080p, $3499
- UT37V702 – 37-inch, 1920x1080p, $2799
- UT32V512 – 32-inch, 1366x768p, $2099
- UT32A302 – 32-inch, 1366x768p, 60Hz, $1799
