According to DigiTimes, Asus is preparing the second generation of the popular Eee PC. The 2nd generation of the Eee PC is said to be available in 8-, 9 and 10-inch while the 9-inch model will come with touchscreen.
The 9-inch touch panel-equipped Eee PCs will adopt four-wire resistive touch screen technology. The expected bill of materials (BOM) to add touch panel functions is under US$15 , the sources said.
