The Vulcan FlipStart is a compact handheld PC running Windows. jkOnTheRun gives a first look at the handheld PC. The video in a bit long, 20 minutes, but it provides a detail look at the device.
The FlipStart is a portable computer powered by an 1.1GHz Intel Pentium M processor, 512MB RAM and integrated Intel GMA 900 graphics. It comes with a 30GB hard drive. In addition to the 5.6-inch 1024×600 main LCD display, there is also a 1.9-inch external screen. With a clamshell design, it has built-in QWERTY keyboard. The handheld PC supports Bluetooth, WiFi and also CDMA EVDO 3G mobile network. It measures 5.9 x 4.5 x 1.6 inches and weights 1.8 pounds.
