Sanyo has announced its latest HD camcorder, VPC-HD2 which is the successor of the Sanyo VPC-HD1, the world’s smallest HD camcorder. The Sanyo VPC-HD2 can capture pictures up to 7 Megapixel, and it has a 2.2-inch LCD screen, 10x of optical zoom, support for 16:9 mode and SDHC cards up to 8GB. The HD camcorder will ship with a docking station and has a HDMI out.
It is expected to be available in March with a price of about $700.
