Other than the DC50 DVD Camcorder, Canon also brings three new featured-packed DVD camcorders with 35x optical zoom, the DC210, DC220 and DC230. All of them not just fit comfortably into the hands, but also the budgets of parents. They are come equipped with DIGIC DV II image processing technology to ensure optimal image quality for both video and still images.
These camcorders all sport a Canon 35x optical zoom lens and features 1000x digital zoom and Canon Smooth Zoom. They also include Canon Optical Image Stabilization for capturing blur-free, shake-free images for the entire focal length. 3-inch DVD-R/-RW discs are used for storage and each disc is enough for recording 60 minutes of video. They all have a 2.7-inch LCD display.
The mid-range DC220 adds nine-point AiAF autofocus and a miniSD memory card slot for recording still images, and the DC230 comes equipped with a 1.07 Megapixel CCD image sensor.
