3M launches the Streaming Projector (model SPR1000), a palm-sized projector ideal for “family movie nights, sleepovers and evening backyard parties”. With Roku Streaming Stick, you have access to over 600 channels, including paid movie streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Instant Video and free channels like Crackle. Of course, you can also find other movie, music and game channels. As you may know, Roku’s Stick supports WiFi for wireless internet connectivity.
The Streaming Projector is based on DLP Cinema technology. It can project an image up to 120-inch with up to 60 lumens brightness. It offers up to 2 hours 45 minutes of battery life. It will be shipped on 22 October for $299.
