Pandigital announced its Novel color multimedia eReader (PRD07T10WWH7), an e-book reader with a full color touchscreen display, WiFi connectivity and multimedia capabilities. The Novel comes with a 7-inch 600×800 display, 1GB internal memory and a 2-in-1 card reader. It supports PDF, ePub, HTML ebook files, MP3, AAC, WAV audio, MPEG4 video and JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF image files.
The Pandigital Novel is boosted by an ARM 11 mobile processor and runs Android OS. It supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n making it able to access Barnes & Noble’s expansive eBookstore catalog of more than one million eBooks, newspapers and magazines. The reader has built-in li-ion battery and offers mini USB port and a 2.5mm headphone jack.
The Pandigital Novel will be released in June for $199.99.
