Kingston introduces the latest addition to its SSDNow line of business solid state drive, the power efficient KC300 series. Its 2.5-inch 7mm height form factor makes it ideal for use in notebook PCs, and its advanced power management feature help extend noteboko battery life. The KC300 is intended to replace Kingston’s V+200 and KC100 business SSDs.
Powered by LSI SandForce 2nd gen SF-2281 processor, the new SSDNow drive features advanced power management to maximize notebook running time, DuraClass technology for Data Integrity Protection, DuraWrite intelligent compression engine for extended SSD life, and RAISE to reduce number of uncorrectable errors.
The KC300 uses SATA III 6Gbps interface an offers up to 525MB/s read and 500MB/s write speeds. It is available in 60GB, 120GB, 180GB, 240GB and 480GB capacities and is available as a stand-alone drive or as an upgrade kit with accessories and cloning software.
