Klipsch comes back with another wireless music system, the KMC3. The new speaker is part of Klipsch’s Music Center line, which is named after The Klipsch Music Center, one of the five most ticketed live music venues in the world. Designed for powerful sound, the premium 2.1 music system comes with built-in subwoofer.
The KMC3 sports dual 2-inch 15W full range drivers for detailed sound and a 5.25-inch 35W subwoofer with a dual port system for deep bass. The speaker has 130 watts of bi-amped digital amplification with advanced DSP equalization for accurate and dynamic sound. Bluetooth technology is used for wireless music streaming and AptX technology is included for high quality sound. There is also a 3.5mm jack for direct connection, and a USB port for charging your mobile devices.
The KMC3 is housed in bass-reflex enclosure with a soft-feel paint with high-gloss metallic accents. To be truly portable, the speaker has a built-in handle and can be powered by 8 D-size batteries for up to 26 hours of playback. It is priced at $399.99 and there is a white version.
