NEC adds to the MultiSync range a new budget business LCD monitor, the E223W desktop display designed for cost and environmentally conscious business customers. Instead of common 16:9 resolution, the 22-inch display has a 16:10 1680×1050 resolution. It features 250cd/m2 brightness, 25,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and power-saving LED-backlight.
NEC’s new monitor includes ECO Mode to reduce power consumption and heat. The ambient light sensor will detect external light sources and adjust the display’s brightness accordingly. It even includes a carbon footprint meter for users to track their carbon footprint savings. The dislay provides Displayport, VGA and DVI inputs and comes with a 4-way ergonomic stand with 110mm height adjustment, tilt, swivel and pivot.
The MultiSync E223W is priced at $209.
