HP announced its new line of ProBook Series business notebooks. The new line includes 13.3-inch ProBook 430, 14-inch 440 and 445, 15.6-inch 450 and 455 and the biggest in the line 17.3-inch 470. All models have a unified design and features a Meteorite Grey casing with aluminum accents. According to the PC maker, the new series is up to 36% thinner and 18% lighter than previous generation.
Except for the 445 and 455 that gets AMD’s Elite accelerated processor, all other models will get choices of Intel’s processor ranging from Celeron to quad-core Core i7, and the 430 will even come with the latest Intel 4th gen Haswell Core processor. They can be equipped with up to 16GB of RAM, and optional dedicated AMD Radeon HD8750M graphics card, with the 430 gets only integrated graphics. Hybrid hard drive option is available to deliver SSD performance with capacity of hard drive.
While the 17.3-inch ProBook 470 has a 1600×900 HD display, all other models have 1366×768 matte displays. In case you need an internal optical drive, you have to get 440 or above models. All models will have stereo speakers with DTS Sound, HD 720p webcam, USB 3.0 ports, SDHC/SDXC/Memory Stick card slot, HDMI 1.4a output, WiFi and optional 4G LTE/HSPA+ mobile connectivity.
