AIS introduces new Rugged Marine PC with integrated Sunlight Readable Display

American Industrial Systems (AIS) announced its new line of marine PCs with rugged display panels. Designed to fully operate under harsh maritime conditions, these marine PCs are comply with marine equipment standards IEC 60945, DNV 2.4, and IACS-E10. While they are DNV certified for extreme conditions including temperature, humidity, vibration; their enclosure meet NEMA 4, 4X, IP65 rating for protection against falling dirt, rain, windblown dust, splashing water, hose-directed water, and corrosion.

Available in 10.4-inch, 12.1-inch, 15-inch, 17-inch, 19-inch and 24-inch screen sizes, all models come equipped with a fully-integrated sunlight readable resistive touch display with wide viewing angles. The 24-inch model will get a Full HD display. All models are powered by Intel’s Atom N2600 dual-core processor and 4GB of DDR3 memory. They come with 32GB SATA solid state drive for storage. You can find two 100/1000 Ethernet LAN ports, two RS232, one RS232/422/485, two USB, and one VGA ports.
