Sceptre launches the CarCam CCR2000 car camera designed to capture events that occur inside and outside your vehicle. This is especially useful when you are involved in an accident and you need evidence to show what happended on the road and who is at fault. The camera does automatic and continuous recording of both visual events and audio, providing key evidence to dispute motor vehicle collisions and any wrong doing.
The CarCam is equipped with a 120-degree wide angle lens for wide field of view and and a 5 Megapixel sensor for up to Full HD 1920×1080 video recording. With built-in Gravity sensor (G-sensor), the camera can detect a collision and automatically locks the video file for evidence. It will also automatically start video recording when the car is parked and struck by another car. Automatic video stabilization is included to ensure smooth video recording.
Sceptre’s car camera comes with 8GB SD card for up to 250 minutes at 720p/30fps HD video, and it supports up to 32GB SD. The built-in li-ion battery allows up to 50 minutes of video recording. There are built-in microphone to record conversation and HDMI video output. The CCR2000 is priced at $399.
