Samsung adds to its Galaxy line a new mid-range 7-inch tablet, the Galaxy Tab 3. With a compact, one-hand grip form factor, the tablet can be hold comfortably for hours and fits in a pocket or small bag. It is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and 1GB of RAM, and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with custom UI and pre-loaded Samsung Hub, Samsung Apps and ChatON applications.
The Tab 3’s 7-inch touchscreen has a 1024×600 resolution. It comes with a 3 Megapixel main camera and a 1.3 Megapixel front-facing camera, and supports Bluetooth, AGPS/GLONASS, dual-band WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity. 8GB and 16GB models are available and a microSD card slot is provided for expansion. A 3G+WiFi version will be available with support for quad-band HSPA+ and quad-band GSM/EDGE mobile networks, which allows users to make phone calls.
Samsung will release the WiFi version Galaxy Tab 3 in May and 3G version in June. You can expect affordable pricing.
