Meridian has started shipping its DSP520 in-wall loudspeaker that can be install in the wall, which is ideal for environments where floor space is limited. The company said that the DSP520 is based around the same advanced driver technology found in the M6 free-standing loudspeaker to deliver high quality sound with a space-saving design.
The DSP520 sports a 85mm wide-range driver and a 140mm bass, which are powered by 100W class AB and 150W class D amplifiers, respectively, to deliver clean, powerful sound. The speakers includes Enhanced Bass Alignment and Centre Elevation to provide lifelike and spacious sound. It features an all-metal construction and comes with RF500 back-box and frame mounting system for simple and easy installation.
Instead of ordinary cables and connectors, the DSP520 uses Meridian’s SpeakerLink Ethernet-style connector. The in-wall speaker is priced at $5000.
