Following the 7-inch MeMO Pad, Asus launches in the US market a bigger MeMO Pad Android tablet. Called MeMO Pad Smart (model ME301T), the 10.1-inch tablet is designed for mobile entertainment, featuring a quad-core CPU, a HD scree and a high-quality audio system. It is slim at 9.9mm and lightweight at 580g.
The 10.1-inch 1280×800 HD multitouch IPS display of the MeMO Pad has a 170-degree viewing angle and offers bright, clear images, even under sunlight. The TrueVivid Technology To is included to offer clear image and rich color. To deliver high quality sound, the device comes with large resonance chambers and stereo speakers with 25x12mm metallic driver, Maxx audio software and Asus SonicMaster sound enhancement. The tablet has a 5 Megapixel auto focus main camera with flash and a 1.2 Megapixel front-facing camera, and it supports 100 continuous burst shooting.
The MeMO Pad Smart is boosted by a NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM. It supports Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n. You can find 16GB internal flash storage and its card slot supports microSD/SDHC and microSDXC cards. Running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, it comes pre-loaded with Asus’ apps, including SuperNote Lite, PinPal, BuddyBuzz.
You can get the tablet from Amazon for $299.99. Also launched is the Folio Key Bluetooth keyboard case for the MeMO Pad Smart. The case allows users to type comfortably and easily, and its stand can hold the tablet in a comfortable angle for watching movies and typing.
