Samsung launches two new SMART CAMERA 2.0 models, the long-zoom WB250F and the dual-view DV150F. Both cameras features built-in WiFi connectivity and touchscreen display for intuitive control. As part of SMART CAMERA 2.0 line, the cameras work with Samsung’s new SMART CAMERA app that includes Remote Viewfinder, MobileLink and AutoShare functions for users to capture and share images easily and wirelessly. The Auto Share function can automatically backup images and videos to a smartphone or tablet as they are taken.
The Samsung WB250F is a long-zoom digital camera. The compact 14.2 Megapixel shooter packs a BSI CMOS sensor, a 18x optical zoom lens and a 3-inch touch display. The camera includes full manual PSAM modes for full creative control, SMART Mode with a range of special shooting modes, and Motion Photo for creating photo with moving sujects. The camera is also capable of Full HD 1080p video recording.
The Samsung DV150F, on the other hand, is a DualView digital camera featuring a 1.48-inch front LCD display for taking self-portrait easily and a 2.7-inch LCD screen on the back. The dual-screen camera sports a 16.2 Megapixel CCD sensor, 5x optical zoom lens with 25mm wide angle; and features Smart Auto 2.0, Smart Filter 3.0, Live Panorama and 720p video recording.
With the SMART CAMERA application, users can control the WB250F and DV150F from their smartphone and transfer photos and videos wirelessly. With AllShare support, they can also stream content to Samsung’s AllShare-compatible HDTVs.
The Samsung WB250F is available in white, cobalt black, fun metal and red for $249.99, while the $149.99 DV150F comes in cobalt black, white, and plum.
