Garmin updates Approach golfing product line with the new S2 that comes pre-loadedw ith over 30,000 worldwide golf courses. Like the S1, the new S2 is able to measure distances to the front, back and middle of the green and track shot distance and odometer, and it adds ability to measure layup and dogleg distances and keep track of user’s score with a digital scorecard.
The Approach S2 is equipped with Garmin’s GPS receiver to provide accurate measurement. With 30,000 worldwide golf course pre-loaded, the watch is ready to use out of the box and can be used anywhere in the world without worrying about data fees and roaming charges. The S2 has a 1-inch monochrome LCD display, and a fexible removable bands for enhanced fit and easy replacement. You can connect the watch to a computer via USB to download, store and print scorecards.It includes automatic time and date, an alarm, and is powered by a rechargeable li-ion battery.
Garmin’s sleek golf watch is lightweight and rugged, durable and waterproof to 10 meters. Available in white/grey, black/red and purple/white colors, Garmin will release the Approach S2 in March for $249.99.
