Canon refreshes its PIXMA Office printer line with four new models, including the MX922, MX522 and MX452 wireless AIOs that allows you to print from almost anywhere, and the affordable MX392. With built-in WiFi connectivity, the wireless models allows users to print wirelessly. They support AirPrint for users to print from iOS devices and using the free EasyPhoto-Print app, you can print and scan wirelessly from iOS and Android devices.
The MX922 and MX522 are compatible with Google Cloud Print that allows images and documents to be printed from Gmail and Google Docs from mobile devices or Google Chrome web browser or Chrome devices. With PictBridge, you can also link the printers to Canon’s WiFi-enabled cameras such as the new PowerShot N and ELPH 130 IS for printing photos easily. All four models support Full HD Movie Print for printing photos from HD movie clips shot with compatible Canon EOS, PowerShot cameras and VIXIA camcorders. With Evernote integration, you can even scan documents and papers directly into Evernote via wireless or USB connection.
All these PIXMA Office All-in-one printers are capable of priting, copying and scanning. The MX922 is a high-end model with two front cassetes tray, with a larger one holding up to 250 sheets of letter paper and a smaller one for up to 20 sheets of 4 x 6-inch or 10 sheets of 5 x 7-inch photo paper; and a 35-page Automatic Duplex Document Feeder. The printer features 5 individual ink tanks and supports 9600×2400 maximum color dpi. The Dual Function panel can easily transforms from navigational to numerical keypad for easy shifting between print, scan and copy settings, and a 3-inch LCD screen allows easy viewing of menu and images. The Direct Disc Print funtion allows the the MX922 to handle CD or DVD print jobs.
The other three models all have 4800 x 1200 maximum color resolution and utilizes FINE cartridge system. They feature a 30-sheet Automatic Document Feeder and FastFront loading system for quick and easy paper and ink cartridge loading.The MX522 and MX452 are mid-range models with a more affordable prices. The former has a Dual Function Panel and a 2.5-inch LCD display, while the MX452 gets only a 2-line LCD. The MX392 is a basic model without support for wireless capability.
