Marshall’s anniversary special edition Hanwell speaker is now available in the US as well as in Europe, Japan and online. As part of Marshall’s 50th anniversary lineup like the Major 50 FX, the Hanwell is the first home audio product to have Marshall’s script logo, brining the amp maker’s “big stage performance out of the arena, and into your home.”
The Hanwell is carefully crafted to deliver “a sound that resonates with the presence and power of live music,” and is “designed to attain Marshall’s trademark tone.” It sports dual 6-inch long throw woofers for super lows, and two Ferrofluid Cooled HiFi Dome for extended highs, as well as 100W PWM amplifier. The Hanwell features analog interaction controls for volume, bass and trebles and a classic power switch, and it comes with a double-ended coil cord with 3.5mm plug.
Marshall’s Hanwell has as wooden housing and is clad is black vinyl, and its body is outlined with gold piping for a celebratory effect. Only 10,000 units of anniversary edition Hanwell are available, and each of them is branded with a numbered anniversary edition commemorative badge, as a tribute to Marshall’s 50-year legacy.
The Marshall Hanwell is priced at $800.
